Carbohydrates
Dogs are primarily carnivores. However, for a healthy, balanced diet they still require plant-based carbohydrates.
When they are correctly solubilised, the plant components are well tolerated. In the wild, solubilised carbohydrates are eaten in the stomach contents of the prey.
